Lauren Conrad, a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle influencer, wanted to create a clean beauty and skincare brand that was environmentally-friendly, ethically sourced, and vegan.

Details of the brand were inspired by the southern California’s coastal charm, drawing references from elements like the painterly ocean horizons. Developing an eco-conscious line that doesn’t compromise the aesthetic quality was especially important to this design, influencing decisions like materiality and forms.
